The Hanover Police have recaptured 21-year-old Demetri Marks, of Blenheim, who escaped from the Lucea Police lock-up on Sunday morning.
Mr. Marks, who was charged with malicious destruction of property, was recaptured hours after his escape.
He was spotted by the police in Lucea and was apprehended.
It was reported that Mr. Marks and 21-year-old Jermaine Barton of Cave Valley were discovered missing during a cell visit.
The men escaped through an opening on a grille.
Mr. Barton is charged with possession of prohibited weapon.
