Hamza Bin Laden
Jamaica has joined other countries in listing Osama Bin Laden's son, Hamza Bin Laden, as a terrorist.
The 30-year-old is seen as an emerging leader of Al-Qaida, the Islamist militant group his late father once led.
An order from the Supreme Court of Jamaica says Mr. Bin Laden will be added as a terrorist based on the Terrorism Prevention Act.
The order was made last week.
Trinidad and Tobago has also ordered that Hamza Bin Laden be named a terrorist in that country and all his assets frozen.
On March 1, Attorney General Faris Al-Rawi filed the matter in the High Court in accordance with the Anti-Terrorism Act.
On the same day, Saudi Arabia announced that it had revoked Bin Laden's citizenship.
The United States is offering US$1 million for information on Bin Laden's whereabouts.
