A Jamaican national died in a two-car crash in the town of Volney, in Oswego County, New York on the weekend.
He has been identified as 59-year-old Frederick Hayles, who was working locally with a permit.
It is reported that on Saturday afternoon, Mr. Hayles was driving a 2008 Dodge Caravan north on County Route 6 when it crossed into the southbound lane, hitting a 2011 Nissan Pathfinder.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two men from the other vehicle were treated in hospital for minor injuries.
The crash is still under investigation.
