Jamaican held for murder in London

The British police have held a suspect in connection with the fatal shooting of  a Jamaican man in London a week ago.

29-year-old Daniel Bidace, of  a West London address has been charged with the death of  Dothan Gordon also known as "Sonny."

Mr Bidace has also been charged with possession of  a firearm with intent to endanger life and the attempted murder of  a 28-year-old woman.

The accused, who was held on Sunday, appeared in court yesterday where he was remanded.

Mr. Gordon, who is from Kingston, was identified as a former member of  a gang based in London.

He was killed last week Thursday in West Ealing. 

 A woman who sustained a bullet wound during the incident has been discharged from hospital.
