Jamaica's COVID-19 positivity rate has surged to an all-time high of 60.3 per cent.
The Ministry of Health says 1,714 cases were confirmed from 2,588 samples on Monday.
Hospitalisations from COVID-19 have increased by 13 to 307.
Thirty-one of those admitted are severely ill, while another 10 are in critical condition.
A 77-year-old man from St. Catherine is the latest to die from the virus in Jamaica, increasing the death toll to 2,502.
Three more deaths are being investigated by the Health Ministry.
