The funeral service for the late Joseph Hibbert, former State Minister in the Ministry of Transport and Works, and Member of Parliament for East Rural St. Andrew was held on Saturday.
His funeral service was held at the Pentecostal Temple on Windward Road in Kingston.
The late MP died last month at the University Hospital of the West Indies after suffering a heart attack.
Hibbert's political career took a big hit in 2009 due to the Mabey & Johnson scandal.
It was alleged that he was bribed by British Bridge building company, Mabey & Johnson Limited for his support in obtaining contracts from the Jamaican government.
However, despite the allegations, the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) ruled in 2010 that there was insufficient evidence to pursue criminal proceedings against him.
