The Minister of Labour and Social Security is warning Jamaicans about a TikTok video by Trace Travel Agency promising overseas jobs.
This agency is not licensed by the ministry.
In a statement, the ministry reminded jobseekers that it is the only entity authorised to recruit farm workers for Canada and licensed agencies are listed monthly on the official ministry websites and social media pages.
Jobseekers are urged to verify any agency before engaging to avoid scams.
The ministry says it remains committed to protecting Jamaican workers and ensuring employment opportunities are safe, legal and transparent.
