Regional carrier LIAT 2020 says the indictment of chief executive officer of Air Peace Nigeria for obstruction of justice by the US has not affected its ownership or operations.
LIAT 2020 is a joint venture between the Antigua and Barbuda government and Air Peace Caribbean which holds a 70 per cent stake in the airline.
The regional airline says Air Peace Caribbean is an entirely separate entity from Air Peace Nigeria, and the CEO of Air Peace Nigeria holds no shares, directorship, nor is he involved LIAT (2020) Ltd.
The airline says it is committed to its mission of providing reliable flight services throughout the region.
