A St. Thomas man who was charged with three counts of having sex with a person under the age of 16 remains behind bars with no date set for him to return to court.
He was charged following the killing of 14 year old Donald Quarrie High School student Kayalicia Simpson earlier this month.The man, whose name has not been released, appeared in the Morant Bay Resident Magistrate's Court on Friday but his case file was not presented.
This led the judge to adjourn the matter without a date being fixed for his next appearance.According to the Police, on at least 3 occasions the 29 year old man had sex with the teenager.
She was 4 months pregnant at the time of her death.
