Man killed in Drax Hall identified

The police have identified the man who was shot dead at Scotchies Jerk Centre in Drax Hall, St. Ann on Saturday night as 28 year old Ricardo Brown.

He was from St. James.

Mr. Brown was killed about 10 o'clock after he alighted from his Porsche which had just pulled in at the popular eatery.

A car with three men aboard drove up beside Mr Brown; the occupants alighted and opened fire, hitting him several times.

The gunmen sped off immediately after the shooting, but shortly after, the driver of the  rgetaway car which crashed into a truck on the Llandovery main road.

Two of  the occupants died at the scene.

The third man was treated at hospital and then taken into custody.

Investigators say a firearm, believed to have been used in Mr. Brown's murder, was retrieved from the crash site.
