Men who pleaded guilty to possessing identity information sentenced

Two men who pleaded guilty to possession of identity information were sentenced on Tuesday when they appeared before the Westmoreland Parish Court.
 
They are Damane Williams and Shane Burton.
 
Williams was arrested and charged with possession of identity information last month.
 
He pleaded guilty on May 3.
 
Williams was sentenced to pay $350,000 or serve two years in prison at hard labour in addition to four years imprisonment at hard labour suspended for three years.
 
Meanwhile, Burton who pleaded guilty on May 7 to possession of  identity information, was sentenced to pay $250,000 or face two years imprisonment at hard labour, in addition to four years imprisonment at hard labour suspended for three years.
