A motor vehicle accident along the Babary Hall main road in St. Elizabeth on Sunday has left one dead and two others injured.
The accident occurred at about 2pm in the vicinity of the G Spot night club in the Barbary hall square.
Reports are that 17-year-old Amal Clarke, a sixth form student of Munro College, the driver Mikhail Clarke and one other person were traveling towards Munroe College in a car when it was hit from behind by a bus heading to Black River.
All three were rushed to the black river hospital where Amal was pronounced dead.
Principal of Munro College Bransford Gayle has described Amal's death as a great loss to the Munro family.
He described the youngster as well mannered and respected by all.
Amal was also a member of the prefect body.
Sunday's accident brings to four to number of persons who have died in motor vehicle accidents in St. Elizabeth
On January 1 three persons were killed in a two vehicle accident along the Brompton main road.
