A wave of digital transformation is being promised for Jamaica following Prime Minister, Andrew Holness' recent visit to India.
Prime Minister Holness on Tuesday announced that several memoranda of understanding were signed with the Indian government during the visit.
The agreements focus on imoproving the digital public infrastructure in the financial sector, the training of STEM teachers and potential collaborations between Bollywood and Jamaican filmmakers.
Prime Minister Holness, addressing the House of Representatives on Tuesdya, said citizens will be able to experience real time impact, especially in the banking sector.
He said the partnership will also provide additional training opportunities for young people in technology.
