More Hurricane Melissa relief coming to Jamaica

A shipment of life-saving emergency supplies is set to arrive in Jamaica from the European Union and other stakeholders to support national relief efforts.

The EU, France and the Netherlands, in partnership with United Nations agencies and the Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency (CDEMA) have joined forces to deliver the critical aid.

It is expected to arrive in the island on Monday morning.

Additionally, the fourth-largest charity in America, Direct Relief, is expected to send a chartered aircraft with medication and medical supplies by November 8.
