Motorists trapped by flooding on Holland Bamboo Avenue

Sections of the main road from Lacovia to Middle Quarters in St. Elizabeth were inundated on Tuesday afternoon inundated resulting in a pile-up of traffic on Holland Bamboo Avenue.

This is due to heavy rains in the north western section of the parish.        

Our St. Elizabeth correspondent said several small vehicles have been trapped by the raging flood waters.

This resulted in a number of vehicles having to be towed.
