Member of Parliament for Manchester Southern, Robert Chin is scheduled to meet with the Integrity Commission on Monday, to address issues relating to financial statements for companies of which he is a director.
The Integrity Commission placed a Public Notice in the newspapers on Sunday seeking the whereabouts of Mr Chin, after it said several attempts made to contact him proved unsuccessful.
But, in a release, Mr Chin said he had been in touch with the Integrity Commission over the last few months in relation to requested financial statements.
He said these financial statements have have not yet been completed by the companies' accountants and as a result remain outstanding.
He apologized for not providing an update to the Commission sooner.
