Nelson to address angry cops

The National Security Minister will face angry members of the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) who have been seeking a salary increase from the Government.

Senator Dwight Nelson is scheduled to address the first day of the Jamaica Police Federation's annual conference in St. Ann on Wednesday.

The contentious issue of the 7% wage increase due to members of the JCF is high on the agenda of the two day meeting.

Last month, the Federation declared that it was losing patience with the Government and its members, who are extremely restive, are threatening to protest to press for the payment of outstanding wages.
