Jamaica recorded one new case of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, bringing to 856 the total number of confirmed cases.
A release from the Ministry of Health and Wellness said the new case is imported. The patient is a female from Clarendon.
There are now 321 imported cases; 246 cases that are contacts of confirmed cases; 44 cases of local transmission, not epidemiologically linked; 236 cases that are related to the Alorica call centre in St. Catherine; and nine cases under investigation.
Recoveries remain at 724.
