Pakistan ambassador to visit Jamaica

Pakistan's ambassador to the United States Mahmud Durrani left Washington DC Tuesday morning for a two-day visit to Jamaica.

Ambassador Durrani is concurrently accredited to Jamaica in addition to his responsibilities as Pakistan's Ambassador to Washington.

While in Jamaica the ambassador will attend a luncheon hosted by Prime Minister Bruce Golding and a dinner hosted by Governor General Professor Sir Kenneth Hall.

Mr. Durrani is also scheduled to meet with the Pakistani community based in Jamaica and brief them on developments taking place in their country.
