Pepsi says part of its expansion plan, is to prepare for taking over the distributorship of Ocean Spray Cranberry products. Commercial Director at Pepsi, Gustavo Flamenco, says the company is now undergoing a 10 million U.S. dollar upgrade.
Pepsi America's acquired production and distribution rights for Ocean Spray's juices throughout the region and is said to be in talks with Wisynco to transfer the distribution of the products to its local subsidiary. Mr. Gustavo was coy on answering questions about the move, but did not hide that he would welcome taking over the distribution of the products.
