Paris Olympic medalists Rasheed Broadbell and Shanieka Rickletts, as well as rising young sensation Tia Clayton, were the Jamaican winners at the Doha Diamond League meet in Qatar on Friday.
Running her first 100m of the season, Tia Clayton, the Paris Olympic finalist, powered to victory in a world-leading 10.92 seconds ahead of twin sister Tina who was second in a seasons best 11.02.
5-time world champion Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce had to settle for 4th in a season’s best 11.05. Paris Olympic bronze medalist Rasheed Broadbell prevailed in the men’s 110m hurdles a season's best 13.14 seconds.
The other Jamaican winner on the night was Paris Olympic silver medalist Shanieka Ricketts who leapt to a season's 14.72 metres to turn back the challenge of Olympic gold medallist Thea Lafond who was second with 14.39 metres.
