Person of interest in murder of Kelsey Ferrigon fatally shot by police in Clarendon

 
The person of interest in the gruesome rape and killing of nine-year-old Kelsey Ferrigon of Job Lane, St. Catherine, was fatally shot by the police in Sandy Bay, Clarendon on Monday morning. 
 
The St. John's Primary grade 3 student was found inside a barrel at her home on Friday. 
 
Hours later, the police named Giovanni Ellis, otherwise called 'Coolie Man', a person of interest. 
 
Assistant Commission of Police in charge of Area 5, Christopher Phillips, told Radio Jamaica News that the police believe the man fatally shot during an operation in Clarendon is Ellis. 
 
The government had offered a $2 million reward for information leading to his capture.
