The Hunts Bay Police are reporting that a drug deal that
went sour may have led to the killings of three persons in Plantation Heights
in St. Andrew two weeks ago.
The bullet-riddled bodies of the three victims were found along the road in the upscale community on May 16.
Two of the victims now been identified.
They are Lambert Foster and his girlfriend Shakina Atkinson, both of Lacovia in St. Elizabeth. The third victim remains unidentified.
A senior investigator told the RJR News Centre that a Rover motor car which Mr. Foster had rented was found abandoned in Queen Hill, one day after the bodies were found.
He said they found evidence in the vehicle to suggest that it was used to transport ganja.
He said the police also found a bail bond which suggested that Mr. Foster was out on bail for drug possession.
