Donna Scott Motley, Campaign Spokesperson for the People’s National Party [PNP] has criticised the governing Jamaica Labour Party for what she described as its failure to deliver on promises to Jamaicans.
Mrs Scott Mottley, addressing the media on Friday, said the JLP administration still hasn't delivered on many of its campaign promises, after years in government.
“What they have projected to the country is fake promises,” she declared during the press conference at the PNP’s headquarters in Kingston, citing the pledge to legislate fixed election dates and term limits “within one hundred days.
She also recalled the promise to establish new cities and “Portmore is going to be a Silicon Valley,” plus the promise to stop taking $11.4 billion from the National Housing Trust every year,” and one to “build 700 thousand houses (including) a hundred-thousand social houses… all failed promises,” according to her.
