Police claim three men killed in Clarendon shootout were wanted for serious crimes

The police say the three men killed during a confrontation with lawmen in Clarendon on Monday were wanted for various crimes, including murders and shootings.
 
It's reported that sometime after 2 o'clock in the afternoon a police team was conducting an operation along Hazard Drive in May Pen when they came under gun attack by men in a motor vehicle.
 
The police returned fire and three men in the vehicle were shot. They were taken to hospital where they were pronounced dead.
 
The police have launched a manhunt for other suspects who escaped from the vehicle.
