Police constable dies following crash in St. Elizabeth

 
A police constable who was seriously injured in a single vehicle crash along the Lacovia main road in St. Elizabeth on Friday night has died. 
 
Constable Ezroy Boothe died at Cornwall Regional Hospital in St. James on Monday. 
 
Superintendent Coleridge Minto, Commanding Officer for the St. Elizabeth Police Division, had made a public appeal for blood donations on behalf of the then injured cop. 
 
Constable Booth, who was assigned to the Junction Police Station, sustained a damaged pelvis and broken legs. 
 
It was reported that he was driving his motorcycle along the Lacovia main road when he lost control and crashed into a utility pole. 
 
Constable Boothe is the 27th road fatality in St. Elizabeth.
