Police probing crash of small plane in Braes River, St. Elizabeth

The St Elizabeth police are probing the crash of a twin-engine plane in Braes River St Elizabeth on Friday. 
 
Acting Police Superintendent Cooleridge Minto, the commanding officer for the St Elizabeth police, told Radio Jamaica News that the police were alerted that the plane went down sometime after 7.00 p.m.
 
Mr Minto said several agencies will be involved in the investigation.
 
He noted that the area has a history of illegal landings but did not say whether this incident is connected with the illicit drugs trade.
