The Constant Spring Police in St. Andrew are to question the grandmother and uncle of the two year-old twin girls who died in a fire at their home on Grants Pen Road Thursday evening.

The police say the children's mother, who had gone to work, left them in the care of the two adults.

The fire which engulfed three houses, started about 7:45.

Eighteen people, including children, are homeless.

Winston Ennis, Councillor for the Waterloo Division, has been assisting with clean up operations and has said he will help the residents to rebuild. He also appealed for assistance from Corporate Jamaica.
