Homicide detectives removed several items on Wednesday morning from the home of Jamaica Combined Cadet Force member 49-year-old Major Cletus Graham, as they widen their probe into his death.
Mr. Graham's body was found at his Rochdale Crescent, Vineyard Town, residence about eight Wednesday morning, after he went missing Monday night.
Major Graham was last seen that day, driving his silver Mitsubishi Grandis. A missing person report was filed on Tuesday and Major Graham's car was located in Job Lane, Spanish Town on Wednesday.
According to the Constabulary Communication Network CCN, residents alerted the Police to Rochdale Avenue after smelling a foul odour coming from a section of the premises.
Graham’s body was reportedly found wrapped inside a sheet in a room of the premises with multiple stab wounds and the throat was slashed.
CCN head, Deputy Superintendent Steve Brown says even though no suspects have been held, the police have some leads.
A source close to the investigation revealed that individuals with knowledge of Mr. Graham's activities, related that associates had visited him on or around the night he reportedly went missing.
Investigators are hoping that these same individuals may have valuable information that could lead them to a suspect or suspects.
As word of Mr. Graham's death spread close friends, relatives and curious onlookers converged on Rochdale Avenue.

He was a special advisor and past president of the Kiwanis Club of Liguanea in St Andrew, and also past president of the Jamaican Institute of Quantity Surveyors where he worked as a partner and director.
Fellow Kiwanians had described Major Graham as a committed person dedicated to serving unselfishly to better people's lives.
