Queens student stabbed

A reported fight involving a past and current student of The Queen's School in St Andrew Monday afternoon resulted in stabbing injuries to both.

The high school student received a knife wound to the neck.

According to reports the incident occurred sometime after 2:00 p.m. during an altercation near Shortwood Road.

It is not clear what sparked the fight between the 15-year-old Queen's student and the other victim, an 18-year-old University student.

A source at the Constant Spring Police confirmed the incident and said investigators were dispatched to two Corporate Area hospitals where both victims are being treated.

Their injuries are reportedly not life threatening.

When contacted an employee in the principal's office at Queen's was unable to comment on the incident, however she confirmed that the principal had left for the hospital.
