A member of Jamaica Women's National Football Team was fatally stabbed Thursday in Half Way Tree, St. Andrew.
She has been identified as 20 year old Tarania Clarke.
Miss Clarke was stabbed during an altercation with a woman over a cellphone.
The incident occurred about 8:50 p.m.
Miss Clarke's attacker has been arrested.
