Rosalee Gage-Grey to act as head of CDA

Rosalee Gage-Grey has been appointed acting Chief Executive Officer of the Child Development Agency (CDA). Mrs. Gage-Grey, who is the director of human resource management and administration at the CDA, replaces Carla Francis-Edie who demitted office on Wednesday.
A statement issued Wednesday night by the Ministry of Youth said Mrs. Francis-Edie’s three-year contract ended on June 30 and was extended for one month. It said her departure is in keeping with the formal administrative procedures of Government at the end of an employment contract. This included a formal exit audit which reviewed the period of engagement. In accordance with the Executive Agencies Act, the Governor-General, upon the recommendation of the Public Service Commission, gave approval for Mrs. Gage-Grey to be assigned as acting CEO with effect from Thursday until further orders.
