A second defendant charged in the abduction and murder of 27-year-old Toshyna Patterson and 10-month-old Sarayah Paulwell, has pleaded guilty.
The accused, whose identity has not been revealed, pleaded guilty Friday afternoon when he appeared before Justice Lorna Shelly Williams in the Home Circuit Court.
The defendant, who brokered a deal with prosecutors, pleaded guilty to two counts of conspiracy to murder, two counts of conspiracy to kidnap, accessory before the fact and misprision of felony.
Friday's development followed the guilty plea entered on Thursday by another defendant in the case.
The two men are to be sentenced on November 15.
Leoda Bradshaw, her cousin Roland Balfour as well as Richard Brown and Roshane Miller are charged in the matter.
Ten-month-old Sarayah and her mother were abducted from their home in St. Andrew on Saturday, September 9.
Their burnt remains were later found buried in a section of East Kingston.
Prosecutors had reported that Ms Bradshaw, a US naval officer, had allegedly planned and hired hit men to execute Ms Patterson and her daughter, who is fathered by East Kingston and Port Royal Member of Parliament, Phillip Paulwell.
It was revealed that Ms Bradshaw offered $500,000 for their execution.
