Section of Liguanea Avenue to close for repairs starting November 17

The National Works Agency (NWA) says a section of Liguanea Avenue in Kingston will be temporarily closed for roughly two weeks to facilitate road rehabilitation.

The NWA says access to the area under construction will be limited to residents only.

The closure, which will be between Paddington Terrace and Barbican Road, will commence on Monday, November 17 and will be in effect for 14 days.

Stephen Shaw, Manager of Communication and Customer Services at the NWA, says the roadway is being rehabilitated as part of the SPARK programme.

As a result, motorists travelling from Barbican Road and Hope Road are being advised to use Paddington Terrace to access Liguanea Avenue.
