Senior Superintendent Stephanie Lindsay, head of the JCF's Corporate Communications Unit
Acting head of the Area One Police, Senior Superintendent Glenford Miller, and his driver escaped injuries on Wednesday night after they were shot at in Whitehouse, St. James.
The incident occurred about 9 p.m. on Kent Avenue.
Radio Jamaica News was informed that SSP Miller came upon men in a vehicle who were acting suspiciously, and attempted to intercept them.
The men reportedly opened fire, which was returned.
The attackers then sped off.
Senior Superintendent Stephanie Lindsay, head of the Jamaica Constabulary Force's Corporate Communications Unit, said there is no report of injury following the incident.
The police are investigating.
