Seven more people die from COVID-19 in Jamaica

Seven more people have died from COVID-19 in Jamaica increasing the death toll to 2,243.
 
Three of the latest deaths occurred in Kingston. The other four were in Manchester, St. Catherine, St. Mary and Clarendon.
 
The deaths occurred during the period from October 3 to 30.
 
An eight-month-old child is among 109 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Jamaica.
 
The positivity rate is 11.5 per cent.
 
The Ministry of Health on Monday reported that COVID-19 hospitalisations remain at 256.
 
Twenty-six patients are severely ill while 13 are in critical condition.
