An employee at a Home Depot in Chelsea, New York who shot and killed a supervisor and then turned the gun on himself inside the store on Sunday afternoon has been identified as a Jamaican.
The 31-year-old employee shot the 38-year-old supervisor three times and then shot himself in the face.
A police source identified the shooter as Calvin Esdaile, Jr.
Police said the two men had a conversation before the shooting.
Witnesses said the shooter was looking for revenge against the supervisor.
Mr. Esdaile’s father said his son arrived in the US from Jamaica in 2006 and lived in Brooklyn.
