Six teen boys implicated in sexual assault of schoolgirl to face ID parade

By Kimone Witter

The Greater Portmore Police in St. Catherine say the six boys implicated in the sexual and physical assault of a schoolgirl are to be placed on an identification parade.

Investigators say the boys have not been charged and are to be further questioned.

The boys have been in custody since their arrest on the weekend.

The police say they are working with the Child Protection and Family Services Agency (CPFSA) and other partners as part of the investigation.

A video, which began circulating on social media late last week, showed the 13-year-old girl being physically abused, while being sexually assaulted by a group of boys.

The CPFSA said investigations revealed that the group of male students allegedly lured the schoolgirl to a house, where she was sexually assaulted, and the act recorded.

The teenage girl is being provided with psychological support.
