RJR News understands that a group of students at the Meadowbrook High School this morning vented their anger over an incident which occurred at the institution yesterday.
It's understood that attempts were being made to search a student's bag. The student who it's reported opined that he was being manhandled, resisted the search and a tussle developed between him and a teacher. The student was reportedly suspended. Fourth form students who say they're peeved by the incident, gathered on the basketball court after devotions this morning. Their protest was reportedly short-lived and they returned to classes after they were addressed by the Principal. The Vice Principal at the school who would not confirm this morning's protest, told RJR News classes were progressing as normal.
