Spring Village school to go on door-to-door search for stolen items

Administrators of the Spring Village Foundation and Training Institute in St. Catherine along with community members will begin a search for three computers that were stolen from the facility on the weekend.

Speaking at a community meeting on Sunday night, Executive Director of the institute, Randy Finnikin said the group will be taking photographs of the stolen items to every household in the community with an aim to getting them back.

However, the search which was scheduled for Monday morning, has been put on hold until after another meeting on Monday afternoon.

The administrators are hoping that persons who might have information of the whereabouts of the stolen items would contact them.

Placard bearing protesters marched through the community on Sunday afternoon, venting their frustration at the high level of break-ins in sections of the community.

Only recently thieves went to two churches and stole a computer and other items.
