SSP Assan Thompson
Senior Superintendent of Police Assan Thompson is seeking to clarify reports that he is in trouble with the law.
This follows news which emerged late Thursday, February 3, that the Director of Public Prosecutions DPP ruled that charges be brought against the 36 year veteran under Section 15 subsection 2c of the Corruption Prevention Act.
He's accused of failing to provide information in relation to his statutory declaration.
According to SSP Thompson he has not been charged with any crime.
