A St Catherine man accused of murdering his cousin three years ago, will have to stand trial again for the charges.
This as the case in the Home Circuit court on Friday ended with a hung jury.
He is Kemar Lewis of Big Lane in Central Village who has been charged with the murder of his cousin, Rohan Henry, 22.
The trial started earlier this week, but after deliberating for 5 hours, the members couldn't arrive at a unanimous verdict.
The court then ordered a retrial, set for July 15.
Allegations are that November 2008, Kemar and another man accosted his cousin with a gun in a lane in Central Village.
They shot him and fled.
A month later, he was arrested during a special operation in Linstead and handed over to the St Catherine South Police where he was charged.
