Superclubs re-names two resorts

As of November 1, two of the hotels in Jamaica's tourist belt will have name changes.

SuperClubs Resorts Monday announced what it says is a strategic decision to realign, elevate and expand its Breezes brand.

As a result the group will rename its Grand Lido Negril and Grand Lido Braco hotels Breezes Grand Negril and Breezes Rio Bueno, respectively.

In addition, SuperClubs said it will this year open two new Breezes resorts in Panama and Brazil and bring its family favourite Starfish Trelawny under its Breezes umbrella.

Chairman of SuperClubs Resorts John Issa, said the aim is to create brand consistency and this restructuring process is the first step in achieving that goal.

He said when the re-branding exercise is complete, there will be 12 Breezes Resorts in six countries.
