A suspect is now in custody in connection with last Wednesday's murder of a woman and her two children in Mavis Bank, St Andrew. He is to be interrogated.
Kashief Jackson, 29, one-year-old Aviere Williams and seven-day-old Aranza Williams were found dead at their one bedroom home in Tower Hill. Ms Jackson's body had chop wounds and the room was set ablaze.
A post mortem will be conducted this week to determine the cause of death of the children. It is suspected that they died of smoke inhalation.
