With an expected increase in numbers for the March 15 income tax filing deadline, Tax Administration Jamaica (TAJ) is extending the hours of its Customer Care Centre from Monday March 11 to Friday March 15, from 8am to 7pm.
Business operators and individuals are asked call 1-888-TAX-HELP (829-4357) to get guidance from trained customer care agents on how to prepare income tax returns, to ask tax questions, to sign up for online filing and to get assistance in filing online.
The Centre will be able to process registration for electronic filing, making it unnecessary for taxpayers to visit a tax office to have this process completed.
E-filing is also available for filing GCT/SCT Returns, Employers Annual Returns (S02) and Monthly Payroll Deductions (S01).
