Thirteen in police custody after operation in St. Elizabeth

 
Thirteen persons were taken into custody during a police-military operation in Black River, St. Elizabeth on Thursday.
 
The operation was conducted in a community known as Jungle.  
 
The police arrested and charged a man who was allegedly found possessing two pounds of ganja.
 
Operations Officer for the St Elizabeth Police Division, Deputy Superintendent Rohan Elliot told Radio Jamaica News the team was searching for wanted men and illegal firearms.
 
The operation took place a week after men fatally shot 42 year old fisherman John Bowlin at his home in the Jungle community.
