Three of the four students who were involved in Wednesday morning's crash along Top Hill main road in St. Elizabeth have been released from hospital.
A flatbed truck transporting a backhoe loader overturned after the driver lost control along the main road.
A Toyota Noah, transporting students of Munro Preparatory, was hit by the tractor.
The driver of the truck and the students received varying injuries.
The brother of the man who was driving the Noah bus says it appears the truck developed mechanical problems.
The incident resulted in damage to Jamaica Public Service power lines and telecommunication cables.
In an update Wednesday afternoon, JPS said the truck involved in the accident remained at the location and had been impeding work to restore power.
The truck was eventually removed about 4 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, and the JPS said service will be restored to most customers by about 7 p.m.
