Traffic standstill after fallen tree damages JPS wires in St. Elizabeth

Traffic between Luana and Middle Quarters in St. Elizabeth remains at a standstill due to bushing work by contractors.
 
The road was blocked after a tree fell and damaged Jamaica Public Service high tension wires along the roadway.
 
Radio Jamaica News was informed that emergency crews are on location but it will take some time before the roadway is cleared.
 
Several students who attend school in and outside the parish are also affected by the incident.
