Two men detained in probe of St. Elizabeth teenager’s death

The St. Elizabeth Police have taken two men into custody in connection with Monday night's shooting death of a teenager in Junction.

The men were arrested Wednesday night, July 27, during an operation in the southern section of the parish.

The two men, one a farmer from Manchester and the other, the son of a prominent St. Elizabeth businessman, are scheduled to undergo questioning by the police on the weekend.

Seventeen year old Rochelle Chin, who graduated from high school recently was shot and killed minutes after arriving home.

Her body was found with three gunshot wounds by relatives, who reported hearing loud explosions.

Despite having the two persons in custody the police are yet to state a motive for the killing.
