Caribbean Airlines has confirmed that two of its passengers died on the weekend having suffered medical emergencies while on separate flights.
Head of Communications Dionne Ligoure, said the first incident occurred on Friday on flight BW 524 where a passenger arriving at Piarco International Airport was unwell.
The passenger was taken to a health facility and he died while receiving treatment.
The second incident occurred on Saturday with a female passenger on flight BW 525.
The flight had to be diverted to Kingston in order to deal with the medical situation.
Miss Ligoure said the passenger was later pronounced dead by medical personnel in Jamaica.
